We use only Hot Water Extraction, the method recommended by Shaw, Mohawk and other manufacturers. It is the only method that cleans deep into the fibers. At 200 degrees, it sanitizes and restores the memory of the fibers. By using "steam" we also use less water, so the drying time is reduced.
